System Maturity (v3.0)
As of January 2026, LegalChain has transitioned into its **Gold Master (v3.0)** production state. The release model architecture governs the lifecycle of data, engine code, and evaluation protocols to ensure consistent scientific comparisons.
V1.0: Foundations
The proof-of-concept mapping of the 10-step chain and initial data-corpus verification.
V2.0: Integration
Refinement of the "Reasoning Bridge" metric and dual-modality (CB vs OB) evaluation logic.
V3.0: Gold Master (CURRENT)
Full implementation of S9 (Transitive Authority) and S10 (Oyez Grounding). Introduction of the S8 integrity gate with voiding semantics. Provisioned with 8.7GB of static ResearchPacks.
Certified Runs (CR)
A Certified Run (CR) is a standardized evaluation execution using a specific version of the LegalChain Release Model. Certified runs are the only results considered authoritative for leaderboards and whitepapers.
Lifecycle Management
The release model ensures that "Hallways" in the evaluation pipeline are never modified mid-experiment. If a prompt or scoring rubric requires an update, it is staged for the next minor release (e.g., v3.1), and all current runs remain pinned to their verified release state.
